Today, we're looking at 3 different delay types (digital, tape, analog) and are listening to the tonal differences between them with audio examples.

Strymon DIG
Strymon El Capistan
Diamond Memory Lane Jr.

*** Note that the Diamond Memory Lane Jr. is not a stereo delay like the Strymon pedals, so the stereo image a lot less wider. Don't get fooled by the stereo image and listen to the characteristics of the repeats!

***Note 2: The Strymon El Capistan can sound much cleaner, but I left the secondary functions like that so you can really hear the tonal characteristics of tape delays such as the Tape Bias and Tape Crinkle!

Tell me in the comments what is your favorite delay type from those 3 and why!

Thanks for watching and see you later for a new episode :)
