This isn't exactly perfect, but it's pretty close to what they are playing on the recording. After seeing a live version it looks like for the held notes during the pre chorus he is playing those high on the A string but this is a simple version of that. Also the riff into the held notes can also be played down an octave if you have a 5 string. That's the octave it sounds like it's in on the recording but my 5 string is getting worked on right now. At the beginning the slide down is from an Ab (4) into the riff.
