Charly Lownoise

Of course I have not been born as Charly Lownoise; my real name is Ramon Rollfs or Roelofs, and I was born in The Hague (NL) on the 17th of June 1968 as child of a 20-year old men’s clothing salesman and a 21-year old housewive. Probably I inherited the passion for music from my father: he played in a rock band back then.By the way: the strange double surname is the consequence of a writing error at the City Hall of a place in the Netherlands called Gouda, some 150 years ago.



After a cooldown period I am busy DJ’ing again, mostly in Germany but sometimes also in The Netherlands and Switzerland (for tour information check my schedule on this website). Also I am busy working on new projects in the studio. My internet team and I will keep you informed of further happenings regarding new Charly Lownoise projects in the near future.
