Man, this is what I consider my FIRST legitimate 80's r3:mix. I had wanted to venture into this realm for some time and this was the perfect opportunity with two of my most talented friends and generally Heroic human beans: the Amazing DJ Ataxic (of the Fysk Tribe, as only the extremely rare get a "Y" as the only voul'ish character in their family name) and talented vocal powerhouse of folky soul, Amanda Hughey.

Not only that, it is none other than Glendale the Golden Axe making a full 360 reappearance on a classic track( just before his eminent disappearance...). With a cast like this I knew this record would be a hit in tbe style I'd always heard in my head. Amanda's vocals just float while somehow still being anchored to the core of the track. I was just hoping I could come close compliment her engulfing sound! And with Ataxic cutting the perfect nostalgic vocal sample of the same era...i just want to sing every time I hear it.

I had been sitting on that track for YEARS! Maybe since 2005, I had created it in Sony Acid and kept the files all together from Clevland, to Phoenix, to Seattle and then KC MO! So glad I never let the idea fade. To me, these records are like diary entries, time capsuls. One of the true gifts of being involved in the creative process from beginning to end. I hope the passion put into these moments translate to your ears...
