The Cologne-based producer, DJ and remixer dedicated his second album „Earritation" nearly exclusively to Dubstep. His interpretation of the genre is unconventional, with a massiv sound, but also melodic and because his tunes are trying to tell a story they are taking it beyond simple clubmusic.

During the time that it took to produce the album, Dexter Dub worked together with singers and MCs from different countries. On the album you will find theese collaborations with Daman from Paris, King Smitt & Terence Paul from America, Jamo Moja and Chryzla MC from Cologne.

The CD is limited to 300 copies and it is wrapped in a handmade cardboard-slider which was stamped by hand.

In 2008 Dexter Dub released his first 12" Single on vinyl. 2010 followed his first album „Dexter's Dub Dimension", which was released as CD and paid digital download.
You will find entries by him on the first three compilations by subbass, a Heidelberg based netlabel. Together with AC Akut he put out tracks on the first Basspräsidium compilation (on vinyl) and the 7th Jülich Sampler (on CD and here under the aka I'n'C).
Dexter Dub likes to stay open minded. He is influenced by his experience of playing as a DJ, producing tracks and being a vinyl-addict for more than 15 years by now. He began as DJ I.R.S. ONE and was only focussed on Hip Hop. His passion of collecting music (especially vinyl) made him also familiar with genres like Beat, Funk, Soul, Disco, Rare Groove, Jungle, Drum n Bass, Electro, Big Beat, Lounge, Dub, Reggae, Dancehall and music from the Balkan.
