These are three Beatport players with tracks from me you can buy at Beatport. Unfortunately I m Currently listed under two different names there: TGM - the green man, The Green Man and The Greenman, so its 3 players!
The Green Man a.k.a TGM a.k.a Heiner Kruse began producing after starting the Junglegrowers Events with his Partner Cheetah. Before that he played piano from the age of 7, dj'ed from the age of 15, but was searching for the right place he belongs - studying, working, composing music with first samplers (yes, all money was spent back in the days for an S1100) and synthesizers on different occasions, trying different things out. In doing Jungle Partys with his friend Laszlo in 1995 he felt very comfortable and was inspired to start making tracks he could play for a crowd that would like them. After working on his first few tunes very long and being finally happy with it, he was convinced of the results and didn't want to wait for a Label's reaction so he released his first tracks himself on Junglegrowers and found a UK distributor for it. After that, he suddenly surprisingly received demos from all kind of people - finding people to work together now suddenly was much easier than before. Many of them were going musicalwise in a quite electronic direction. People in Germany thought "Jungle" would always mean "Raggajungle", so the name "Junglegrowers" caused different expectations compared to the music that got played at the parties after 2 years of doing it, thats why the partys and label got called Basswerk from then on. This became a big success and was elected several times as German D&B Label of the Year. In 2001 he received an offer from Combination-Rec to release his first album on their label. That was a good opportunity as Combination went also for the not-so dancefloor-orientated TGM tracks, while TGM sound for Basswerk was mostly dance stuff. It was appreciated very well and the Album Single Infinity made it to the MTV Dance Top 20. Nevertheless, due to surprisingly different opinions on music in the years after that, the 2nd album on Combination never came out. Expect a big pack with a lot of unreleased material to be released in late 2008 after now it is finally agreed that TGM is allowed to release that 2nd album on another label. After being a bit unsure of what to do next for several reasons, he is also back into making his true favorite sound - the spheric, musical, sound adventure-like tracks. From after 2001, you can also find a lot of TGM's newer works on Basswerk Sessions 2 compilation and vinyl releases on Soundtrax, Basswerk and Sudden Def. Also different RMXs were made, including one for Have A Break Rec, plus music for Films, including Lichtfaktor works (see below). You find 3 new Green Man Tracks on Basswerk Sessions Vol.3 compilation as well as one under his second "Kahluah Funk" Alias. In spring 2009 a new 12 inch (BW35) is coming preparing the launch of his new album, including "In Custody" and Phace's "Berlin Rmx"!!

Currently, TGM is working on Basswerk Sessions 3 compilation as well as finishing his 2nd Album, still runs the Basswerk Session Parties in Cologne's Gebäude 9 and DJ's a lot in different places.
On Basswerk of course you find many The Green Man - Tracks on Vinyl and CD as well. He did also release on Santorin, Soundtrax, Bogaloo and Certificate 18 as there are three elder coops with Klute out. His sound is mainly deep and energetic and very often cineastic. His "Illgeal" Rmx of Michael Rose vs. Kinder Atom was chosen for a CSI Miami show and he did further Soundtrack making as for example for Lichtfaktor's Video Star Wars vs. Star Trek. He also published tutorial Books and DVD's about producing (Reason, forthcoming: Logic), writes for Resident and Music Supporter Mag and teaches Production Classes at Akademie Deutsche Pop, Köln. In his studio he works with a lot of old Machines he still loves, that sound good and that he got used to. In Onlineshops sometimes things get messy with the name "TGM", "The Green Man" or "TGM a.k.a The Green Man"
TGM is also one half of "Blitzkind" - also enjoying the creative possibilities of making Lightwriting Nightshots
