DESCRIPTION:
My version of the classic Steve Gadd Groove. I know this one has been covered to death but I just wanted to cover it myself. I believe it is a rite of passage to play properly and get the groove solidly. Also as you can tell I only have four pieces from the kit. Proving once and for all that LESS IS MORE. All you need is a little creativity you can create some wonderful beats with very little.

The hardest part? It is not the whole linear groove. It is hitting that kick at the very same time as Steve does. Because no Drumless track exist ( or that I could find) I played over the original. Something I try to avoid due to the fact that flaming will surely occur. But I pushed myself to do it and man that first kick is so laid back It's ridiculous. But then that double kick is forward. Ahaha! A very New Orleans feel If I do says so myself. But here it is. I hope to have done it justice.
