Peluso Microphone Lab Presents: Yellow Couch Sessions
Campfire Cassettes: Who's Got The Cocaine

Los Angeles's Campfire Cassettes stopped by in the fall to sing a couple of their darkly fun and insanely catchy songs for us. I don't think that I haven't sung one or both of these songs for at least 20-minutes a day since the first time I heard them. Luckily, they're really good songs!

On Jonathan's vocals, we used Peluso Microphone Lab's 2247se. I paired that with their P-84 on his acoustic guitar. We used the P-12 on Angie's voice and I think it's a fantastic pairing. Finally, we set up their P-49 as a drum overhead and vocal mic for the drummer. I love how warm and lively this combo feels.
