Spirits and Melchizedek Children

This is everything that I love about doing this video series: A fantastic band with an original, signature sound and then every single one of them is a treat to be around. Such was the case with Atlanta's Spirits and the Melchizedek Children. You can check out more of their music here: http://satmc.bandcamp.com/

We used Peluso Microphone Lab's P-12 on Jason's vocals. These days, it's always the first mic that I grab for vocals. We used their TR-14 tube-ribbon mic on the lead guitar and the 2247se as a drum overhead.

All audio for Yellow Couch Sessions is recorded and mixed by Steven Foxbury of Yellow Couch Studio. Video for SATMC was shot and edited by Matt Dayak.
