Please note: we missed the opening bars of this performance - terribly sorry! The performance was late at night, after the Australian World Orchestra's Indian debut concert in Mumbia. Two of Australia's greatest string players Daniel Dodds and Tobias Lea performed this impromptu version of Handel's Passacaglia in a restaurant while on tour with the Australian World Orchestra in India in October 2015 to honour Maestro Zubin Mehta, who appears right at the end across the table from our very own Artistic Director, Alex Briger. It was a truly momentous and special moment!
