Concerto di inaugurazione del Museo.

È il giorno importante e atteso della apertura al pubblico di MdV. Il momento trova sottolineatura nel concerto dell'orchestra d'archi Lucerne Festival Strings con due interpreti d'eccezione quali la solista Arabella Steinbacher ed il violino concertante Daniel Dodds ed i loro preziosi Stradivari.
Fondata nel 1956 da Wolfgang Schneiderhan e Rudolf Baumgartner, Festival Strings Lucerne è una delle principali orchestre svizzere. Alta qualità, entusiasmo e l'inconfondibile "suono d'oro" (Washington Post, 2003), grazie anche ai numerosi strumenti di proprietà dell'omonima Fondazione qualificano Festival Strings Lucerne come una delle migliori orchestre da camera nel mondo, regolarmente presente nel cartellone di importanti festival e teatri europei e internazionali.
L'eco classicista della Sinfonia per archi n.10 di Mendelssohn è contrapposta al temperamentoso Preludio da "Tristan und Isolde" di Wagner, mentre la bellezza melodica, la forte contrapposizione dei singoli movimenti dei Concerti di Mozart permettono di apprezzare appieno le possibilità espressive del violino.

On this long-awaited, important day, the MdV will officially open to the public, and the inauguration will be celebrated by a concert from the Festival Strings Lucerne orchestra, featuring two exceptional performers, soloist Arabella Steinbacher and violin concertante Daniel Dodds, with their precious Stradivarius.

The classicist echo of Mendelssohn's String Symphony No. 10 will be set against the temperamental Prelude to "Tristan and Isolde" by Wagner, while the melodic beauty and the strong contrast between the individual movements of Mozart's Concertos will offer a chance to fully appreciate the expressive possibilities of the violin
