DESCRIPTION:
On june 21 in 2012 former MAGIC BAND guitarplayer GARY LUCAS presented a CAPTAIN BEEFHEART symposium in the Bimhuis in Amsterdam. Part of the program was a performance of a project Gary had done together with dutch radioman/close friend of Frank Zappa/musician CO DE KLOETjr, called "I HAVE A CAT" based on a long telephone-interview Co did with DON VAN VLIET aka Captain Beefheart for Dutch radio.
I was at that symposium in Amsterdam and filmed a lot with my pocketcamera that evening, including the performance of Gary & Co. But I unfortunately missed the end of their concert because I ran out of space on the hard disc of my camera. Nevertheless: here is about 53 minutes of that performance -including the introduction by Co- of "I Have A Cat". Hope you like it.
