This song is meant as a tribute to Betty Davis, the Pittsburgh born Rock Star from the early 1970s.

Today, she would be a superstar in the category of Madonna or Beyoncé. Back then, she put out several marvelous albums before disappearing from the scene. Maybe the pressure of being a proud, independent, young and attractive women who was singing her heart and soul out was even a little bit greater back then than today.

In recent years some of her music has been newly mastered and released again. In 2016 even some previously unreleased songs with musicians of her later to be husband for one year, Miles Davis, have been released.
