Orelse is back with us at Baroque.. and this time he comes with an armful of carefully crafted audio for this new Album..
Kicking off with the title track Beauty, full of subtle break beats, classy strings and winding melodies. This is swiftly followed by Secrets which features the gorgeous Maria on vocals ( who features all over the album ) and layers of chunkier broken beats this time, haunting keys and a busy moving bassline.
A Song For Silver & Her Smile I Miss both take us down a cinematic chilled out road, before big delayed strings & waves of euphoric sound are all wrapped around smokey vocals in Moonfade.
New Life is a big orchestral production with live percussion & sweet strings and a powerful vocal rising throughout give it energy.
Take Back lifts the spirits with an instantly addictive topline hook & a revolving guitar line reminiscent of All Saints Pure Shores.
Music With Open Heart & Closed Eyes is another haunting emotive masterpiece, as the keys rapidly move up & down, dark & light passes the silky vocals. Stunning stuff.. and then finally Fade Away Beauty closes signs off with the most electronic cut of the album., as synths and a meaty beat make a rare appearance to end on a high.
