BIOGRAPHY



At the tender age of 16, Israeli DJ and producer, Itay Steinberg, made his mark on the music industry with his alias “Hydroid”. Itay developed his craft at Resonance (in Tel-Aviv), with a degree in sound design and synthesis.



Itay’s first project as Hydroid was “Draw to Depth”. The overwhelming success of the track attracted EDM heavyweight Markus Schulz, whom blasted the track on dance floors across the globe.



Since then, Itay has worked with major labels including Armada, Ultra, Vandit, and United (among other strongly recognized EDM labels). Itay’s music was continuously supported by world-renounced DJs—Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, and Above and Beyond.



Two years down the road, after the release of over 18 original tracks and remixes, and after touring the world as Hydroid, Itay decided to pursue his original dream—Motion Picture, TV, and Video Game music production. Itay teamed up with his childhood friend, TV music producer, Roman Weinstein. The duo has since had many accomplishments, including work on the soundtracks of “Survivor”, “Celebs”, “CSI: MIAMI”, and several worldwide commercials.



Currently the duo has taken up many new projects. What is there ultimate goal? Renovate and Reinvent the world of music in Hollywood.
