So Send I You. Hammond C3 & Maas Rowe Vibrachime - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jul 14, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
I received this organ and chime in the last of May of 2014 from a church in Knoxville TN. The pre-amp did not work. Also inside there were sections of bare wire where the insulation had cracked and fallen off. I have since replaced the rotted wiring, repaired the pre-amp, installed a trek II reverb system, installed a Leslie 122 kit, and re-wired the upper pre-sets. The organ was voiced through a Hammond tone cabinet but since it is now voiced through a Leslie, the chimes did not sound good when the Leslie was set to tremlo. I have separated the chimes and it is now voiced through its own amplifier and a Wurlitzer Spectra-tone speaker operating at a slow speed to give the sensation of a distance echo. I really enjoy the chimes. It reminds me of the campground I use to stay in when we went to Townsend TN. There was a church close by that played chimes at noon every day. The campground is now closed and no other campground close to that church. I often just play the chimes without the organ at a lower volumn to simulate the sound I remember from Tuckaleechee Campground.
