DESCRIPTION:
I did a couple of session jobs in the last year and some of the material is finally ready for release. 'Cognizance' is a UK based Death Metal project. I tracked 4 songs for their debut EP 'Inquisition', released 1/2/13. This is the second video from the session for the song 'Defying A Natural Process'.

Some of you drum nerds out there will notice that I'm doing doubles with my feet for certain parts. I've seen a lot of guys in the death metal scene switching to this technique for faster stuff so I decided to invest some time into it in the last year. I have not in any way abandoned my singles, in fact I still work on them as often as ever. My pedal settings haven't changed, I just thought it might be nice to utilize both techniques. The doubles seem a bit more reliable upwards of 240.

I originally had 3 camera angles and foot cam for these songs. However, several weeks after tracking my harddrive failed and I lost almost all the footage (as well as a ton of other important stuff). Thankfully I hadn't deleted the footage off of this camera yet, so I still had this one angle to work with.

Tempo is 255 BPM.
