DESCRIPTION:
On 27 June 2008 Stephen Fry took to the stage at Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday Tribute Concert 46664 to speak about one of the greatest men of our time. With Nelson Mandela's passing today these words have never resonated so much, we will never forget this incredible human being.

Mandela felt that not enough was being done to promote awareness of the HIV/AIDS pandemic and this concert series was used to promote awareness of the disease. The event came twenty years after his 70th Birthday Tribute concert held while Mandela was still in prison..
