This song was born in the revelation that God's love is the only perfect model for perfect love. All earthly love is modeled, in some form, on the nature of God's revealed love. Perfect love annuls fear. Rest in the perfect love of God. Believe with all your heart, mind and soul that in God your future is secure - that there is nothing that happens to you that escapes God, that there is nothing that happens to you that God does not want to help you with. Do not look around you in dismay as trouble takes some. Do not look around you in jealousy as success takes others. Stay the course with God, and look to him only in all things. And do not be afraid.
