Agents of Change - Decolonize Now - Video
PUBLISHED:  Aug 15, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
The place that we currently call home, Chicago, IL, was once the home of the Potawatomi, Miami, and Illiniwek peoples (among others). Through hundreds of years of racist violence and cultural annihilation, the native people of this area were either eliminated, forcibly assimilated into 'white' culture or displaced.

Thus, this song is dedicated to the memory of those who have struggled to defeat colonialism, and to those who are still engaged in that struggle. Decolonize now!
