Started in 05'.
With Yan Sergienko singing, Shnick strumming, Nick drumming, and different bass players coming and going. Until in early 06' when Tic James was contacted by Sergienko to record a demo.
Upon the day of recording The Atrocities lost yet another temporary bassist, and it was decided that Tic would pick up bass duties at least for the "No Money" demos.
By late 06' the players had outgrown their inexperienced singer, and Yan was sacked from The Atrocities. Tic James called Will Lukenbill and Lukenbill has taken over as the "REAL" bassist of The Atrocities, and Tic moved to the microphone.
The "No Money Demos" were finished and distributed.
Many, Many shows were played, and a buzz soon spread.
In September 07' The Atrocities got together with Producer/Engineer Johnny Eichum, and began production for "THE BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS", at EVIL EMPIRE STUDIOS in Carol Stream Illinois.
Throughout the remainder of 2007, all of 2008, and the first 3 months of 2009 The Atrocities played shows and recorded non-stop.
Then finally May 1st 2009 "The Blood Is On Your Hands" dropped.
A release show was held at The Annex in Madison Wisconsin where The Atrocities shared the stage with Hardcore legends Millions of Dead Cops.
Currently The Atrocities are planning on touring in April of 2010, and writing and recording their sophmore release.
Look out for these scumbag assholes at your local cd outlet lowering the commercial value of the record next to them, at your corner booze store selling crack to school children, or at your city hall meeting with a fully automatic aiming at public servants.
