DESCRIPTION:
This is an adaptation of Zappa's landmark composition. It has a slightly different orchestration, some harmony appears from the middle onward and, most importantly, it is not approached as a "precomposed drum set score" but as a musical piece interpreted by the drummer, staying true to the rhythmic values. I think this approach brings out the wonderful, eerie music of the Black page and reminds us, yet once more, of the genius that Frank Zappa was. Skip intro 0:24
