Soupy Sales - WHITE FANG Reprise Records 45 rpm from the album "The Soupy Sales Show" 1961. Born Milton Supman on January 8, 1926 in Franklinton, North Carolina. Died October 22, 2009 at age 83. Slapstick comedian. Had his own ABC-TV series 1959-1960 and a syndicated show from 1966-1968. A move to Detroit in 1953 launched his TV career in a big way; Soupy was responsible for a whopping 11 hours of face time a week on WXYZ-TV. Lunch With Soupy began in 1953 from the studios of WXYZ-TV Channel 7, located in the historic Maccabees Building, in Detroit. Puppets on the show included: White Fang, Black Tooth, Pookie the Lion, and Hippy the Hippo.
