Since 2004, the realm of the wicked, the realm of the controversial and the realm of shock have been held high by an infamous pair of escaped lunatics. Mal H-Vock & Filth. These two maniacs, with the production madness of Lil D had taken the underground rap and horrorcore scenes by storm. With their off the chain stage show known to include fire, a casket, giant grim reapers, stage dancers and confetti finale, 7th Layer since day one had been recognized as a tough act to follow.

In 2008 7th Layer expanded their line up to include a full band of experienced, dedicated and equally demented musicans. The execution of that decision had taken them from the dark depths of the underground scene to sharing the stage with national acts such as the Misfits, Powerman 5000, Kottonmouth Kings and Halestorm as well as Psychopathic recording artists Twiztid, Blaze & ABK.

2009 & 2010 witnessed performances at National events such as The Gathering of the Juggalos, Twiztid's Slaughterhouse Tour, Kottonmouth Kings' Party Monster Tour and ABK's April Fools Foolin' Tour, bookings at larger capacity venues such as the Theater of Living Arts and continued to present an ever evolving, cutting edge performance experience.

2011 witnessed 7th Layer reunite former artists, recruit fresh talent, record prophetic release and return to the road unveiling a truly unique sound and performance experience which transcends genre and ultimately redefines musical classification and presentation as their rise from the Underground continues into 2012 and beyond.
