This is from one of Marc Cary's first recordings, dedicated to his late mentor Abbey Lincoln. After working with her for 12 years, Marc began to build his solo career, but he never forgot what he learned on the bandstand with the greats. He incorporated all of his experience with other great artist into his own work and truly made it his own, instilling his own passion within in it.
