The Game made headlines this weekend after Cash Money Records co-founder Birdman confirmed the L.A. rapper was the most recent addition to his Miami/NOLA music label. Since its inception in 1991, Cash Money and sister label Young Money Records have been responsible for the explosive hip-hop careers of Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake. But, in the last two years alone, Cash Money has been diversifying their roster with new additions like R&B singer Christina Milian, rap-rockers Limp Bizkit and newly minted DJ/heiress Paris Hilton. Other additions include Bow Wow and Busta Rhymes. While their music styles might be different, all these new Cash Money artists have one thing in common: since signing with Cash Money, all have yet to release an new album.

As for the Game, his camp confirmed this week that he's already hard at work on his sixth album in Miami. Here's to hoping we hear that soon.
