Papas Underground is a Washington DC Rock en Español, members are: Francisco Foschi (Guitars) Cheeto Landaverde (Guitar) Claudio Foschi (drums) Pachi Jimenez (Vocals and Bass)

Papas Underground developed a unique musical style that blends american traditional music such as the blues, folk and country genres with Rock en Español. They are part of the new generation of bands emerging in the United States. Formed in Washington DC -a city dominated mainly by Politics- with members from Venezuela, Colombia, El Salvador and Ecuador. They were one of the most popular bands in the Rock en Español movement in Washington DC metro area.

The Band is fully bilingual and bicultural, moving back and forth from English into Spanish, native language for its members. Two Albums have been released to date Rollinga Social Club (2005) an Secon to Last (2007). The band is currently on hiatus.
