You can find "Kombustion" in all record stores (Specs, Virgin, Tower Records, etc) or on the internet (amazon.com, musicoutfitter.com, barnesandnoble.com, etc) Here is some of what people have said about the record:

"Overall Kombustion is an upbeat and well-crafted album with straight-ahead lyrics. The interplay beweeen the vocals and guitar on songs like 'Los Muebles del Planeta de los Simios', 'Sonido/Color', and 'Sera Facil' is perfect." Juan Pablo Restrepo, Loft Magazine, February 2004

"Bringing together 90's grunge sound with brit pop, latin rock band Soniko has created a heavy anglo sound with a highly stylized latin flavor." Street Weekly (Miami), February 20 2004

"Thanks to energy, determination, and money well invested, as well as some extra help in the final mixes from Shakira's engineer Marcelo Anez -- who got a Grammy for his work with the Colombian diva's MTV Unplugged -- the band completed a solid debut, Kombustion." Javier Andrade, New Times (Miami), January 15 2004

"Con un sonido que igual pide prestado de la psicodelia que del grunge y del brit pop, Soniko se une a Volumen Cero en la batalla por cambiarle la cara al 'sonido Miami.'" Jesus Olvera, Al Borde (L.A.), April 22 2004

"With the Beatles pouring out from its pores, Kombustion is a happy foray into alterna-pop, but it's not without its experimentations: sitar, groove oriented rhythms, and melodic modulations reminiscent of the first British invasion." Rene Alvarez, Street Weekly (Miami), September 19 2003

BIO

Soniko is a 4 piece band which represents a powerful sound that has become one the most influential of the underground in Miami.

Their style is a mixture of various musical tendencies influenced by 90's Grunge, Brit Pop with a base of Rock en Espanol.

Antidoto Parcial

Soniko is in the final stages of finalizing their full length second album which should be available before this summer 09. "It's been a long two years of hard work and practice but definitely paid off with the results." - Jorge Garcia

"Antidoto Parcial" shows the growth of Soniko as a band and individuals. A collection of 12 songs, some of them which you might have heard in some of our last shows and most never heard before. We decided to bring back the oldest Soniko song "Laberinto" which wasn't released in "Kombustion", with a special guest singing vocals with Alex.

The recording experience was amazing, most of the tracking was done in Audio Vision Studios and we had the pleasure to mix the album with Mr. Doc Wiley at Sonic Nerve Studios on Lincoln Rd (South Beach).

Kombustion

With only two years of experience under their belts, Soniko took on the enormous task of producing their first full length CD as well as recording their first two music videos in order to make the most complete presentation to the public nationwide.

The mix and the mastering of this album was completed by the renowned Grammy award winner (Shakira-Unplugged & Thalia) Marcelo Anez , who put the final touches and reaffirmed the band's desired sound.

In addition, the band has been accompanied by the unconditional support of the popular photographer and designer Claudia Calle, whom since their inception has placed her incredible talent to the image and attitude of the band.
