DESCRIPTION:
Papas Underground is a band formed in early 2003, in the city of
Washington DC, United States. Member hail from different Latin American Countries: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and El Salvador.

Papas Underground is fronted by Venezuelan Pachi Jimenez (Bass Guitar and Vocals); Colombian cousins Francisco (Guitar) and Claudio Foschi (Drums); Salvadorian guitarist Cheeto Landaverde and Santy Torres on Keyboards from Ecuador.

Papas Underground spearheaded the clandestine "Rock en Espanol" movement in DC. Later on, some songs were written in English which gave the band more opportunities to expand and be heard.

Two Albums have been released independently Rollinga Social Club (2005) and Second to Last (2007) Both available in Itunes and CDbaby.

Papas underground is currently on Hiatus. Pachi Jimenez went on as a solo artist, and Francisco Foschi is currently playing bass guitar with The Monas.
