"I have always loved Indian music, ever since my brother came home with the triple vinyl of the 'Concert for Bangladesh'. George Harrison assembled a whole bunch of friends to raise needed funds for the refugees of Bangladesh, at Madison Square Gardens 1971. Side 1 featured Ravi Shankar with his ensemble which was my first taste of traditional Indian Music.

Thanks to my dear friend, Guy Buttery for his influence and love of Indian music which was the inspiration behind 'Something for George'. This was our very first performance of this composition and a good year and a half before it was recorded for 'Natalia'. It is also an ode to my favourite Beatle, George Harrison and his love of Indian music. And a play on words for his masterpiece 'Something'." - Nibs
