"Solofo is a finger style extraordinaire from Strasbourg France. Born to a French mother and Malagasy father, Solofo is a fresh bright light in the finger style, singer songwriter scene. On his debut album, ‘Watching Things Grow’, he has carefully crafted 12 gems each breathing a unique charm. The complex Malagasy rhythms are the backbone and heartbeat of the album, but Solofo has succeeded in crossing borders with North African, Indian, Scandinavian and folk styles.
