This quintet led by Mitchell Long featured the legendary Brazilian drummer Claudio Slon. The quintet enjoyed success playing local concerts, jazz festivals and club dates in Colorado. The group also worked for several years as the house band at Vartan jazz club in Denver.

On a personal note I would like to dedicate this to my dear friend and musical colleague Claudio Slon who was a constant source of inspiration and one of the greatest musician - drummers I ever had the pleasure to work with. I miss his friendship and music dearly.
