With a voice that evokes images of a bygone era of American Roots music, Anna speaks directly to the listener with a memorable and honest lyrical approach.

Anna is currently finishing her debut album at Monique Studios with producer Christian Best. These sessions saw Anna and a 6 piece band enter a home based studio and with Anna sat behind an old Yamaha upright piano, the group sensitively recorded assured performances that highlight the mood of Mitchell's songs.

In the Lead single 'Let's Run Away' she is suggesting to a lover to leave town and never look back, making a world of just their own, in the tradition of outlaw duos such as Bonnie and Clyde. This tale is accompanied by a soundtrack of guitar, double bass, drums, baritone guitar, rusty harmonica and soaring pedal steel that all hint towards an alt-country feel, showcasing a rich understanding of dynamic and heartfelt narrative songwriting.
'Let's Run Away' was released on March 28th.

As a live performer, Anna captures an audience, this has quickly established her in her home town where she has already guested with many fellow performers including Simone Felice, Mick Flannery, John Blek & the Rats, Duke Special,The Man Whom, Interference, Mundy, Lisa Hannigan, David Kitt,Two Time Polka & more.

Having recently purchased two new (second hand) tyres and a new gear box, Anna travelled the country playing gigs and radio sessions in promotion for her debut single and forthcoming album.

The next single is due out in early Summer. 2014 is looking promising for this as yet undiscovered young songwriter.
