DESCRIPTION:
It was this album from the Sonic Youth back catalogue which a fellow YouTuber asked me to remaster... So here's my first attempt at a private reworking.

What's up with the album? Not a hell of a lot, but a bit of background research showed that it was recorded with a valve/tube mixing desk and that made for the lovely, creamy guitar sound, and according to the band, didn't really do the drums justice.

I agree, it's mostly the drums that have suffered with a bit of a 'cardboard box' sound resulting! Without the multitrack mastertape there's hardly any chance of improving this much more, but here it is, my work so far...
