Karl Wolf has been a singer, songwriter and producer since 2001, with a big presence in the Middle East. He is a spokesperson for Coca Cola there and has been named as part of the 100 Most Influential Arabs in the World by Arabian Business.com for two years in a row. In March 2010, he signed a new recording contract in the United States with Universal Republic followed by a worldwide deal with Universal Music Canada in 2011. This came at no surprise as Karl's international hit single “Africa” sold over 700,000 units worldwide, spent 8 weeks at #2 on the Billboard singles chart, gained triple-platinum status in Canada, reached #1 on iTunes, #1 on AC Radio, #1 on Hot AC Radio and won a 2008 MTV Europe Music Award. Karl has followed up this success by releasing chart-topping singles such as “Carrera”, “Yalla Habibi”, “Mash It Up” featuring Juicy J and “Ghetto Love” featuring Kardinal Offishall. In Dubai, he premiered the MTV Arabia Network with Ludakris and Akon and opened up for Selena Gomez in her Stars Dance Tour. Going back to his R&B roots for his latest album “Stereotype”, he worked with megastar producer Timbaland on his hit single “Magic Hotel”, amongst some other prominent artists such as hip hop heavyweight Fatman Scoop as well as Canada’s own Classified. In 2015, Karl aided to, international superstar, OMI’s success by co-writing the latter’s worldwide hit single “HULA HOOP”. This was followed by the signing of a worldwide publishing deal with music industry giant BMG
Publishing.
