NEA Jazz Master Sheila Jordan clip, beginning with her "bass and Voice" section of "Confirmation." Dean Johnson, master bassist smiles from ear to ear, playing with Sheila. March 11th, 2017 - I began completion of a dream to perform and record good lyrics to Charlie Parker's melodies. I gathered a wonderful band and 4 great be-bop singers, and I performed as well. Trumpet's Jazz Club in Montclair, N.J. was the scene. This is only the beginning of the project. I will post clips of Danny Bacher, Marion Cowings and Suzanne Pittson as well. What a great adventure.
