Artist Biography: Formed in Santa Monica when they were only 15 years old, SYMBOL SIX has a been entrenched in the L.A. music scene since 1981. Signed to Posh Boy Records along with AGENT ORANGE, SOCIAL DISTORTION, and TSOL, they released their self-titled album, Symbol Six, in 1982. The album was distributed worldwide and played in heavy rotation on the world famous KROQ's, Rodney on the ROQ show, hitting Billboard Magazine's top album of the year list. Playing notorious clubs as Godzilla's and Cuckoo's Nest with the bands BAD RELIGION, SOCIAL DISTORTION, and THE DESCENDENTS. They were well on their way to great success. Due to conflicting ideals they disbanded in 1982. Dr Strange Records picked up the album and rereleased Symbol Six in 2013 to great reviews. SYMBOL SIX reformed in 2009 with a professional and passionately polished new sound, Monsters 11. True to its roots with a larger than life sound all of its own, 'Dirtyland' is supercharged, high energy rock n roll, the way it should be, no regrets. RELEASE DATE SPRING 2014 on Jailhouse Records!
