INTERNATIONAL JAY

He who wears the Crown is burdened by many hats, but in the case of J.Berry AkA International Jay he says "It's only a burden if you shouldn't have the hat on to begin with". Only in his early 20's J.B. has accomplished feats many would say only a true musical Renaissance man's dedication could reach in such a techically short time span. For someone to be considered "Under the radar". J.B. was signed as a producer at the age of 15 during the late 90's under the same management company who's roster included at the time "Da Bush Babies" and was closely associated with Easy Moe Bee. He was also co-managed by another company who Housed at the time Legendary Rap Icon "Kool-G Rap" and "Jaz-O". His first start in music was actually as a Dj at the age of 13 and quickly was picked up with his partner at the time Dj Gully to become the Official "School Of Hard Knocks Clothing Line" Dj's, Spinning at local clubs/lounges and community events. Eventually, J.B. would set his sights on rapping/producing records (with one parent an author and another a musician he'd say it was already written). Even at such a young age he had a unique style of production and was already branching out to different genre's of music such as Reggae, House and Lounge Music. At 16 J.B. decided to take it up a notch and created his own record label known back then as "Cold Mind Entertainment" in which he signed a female and male rappers and formed a rap group known as "Reprisal" and doing a co-management/label deal with a reggae group known as "MayDay". As others passion for music died down, Berry's passion grew, seeking out more talent and expanding his own empire to astonishing heights in such a short time. In 2000 J.B. decided it was time for a name change and being that in a lot of his raps he always shouted out a crew he made during his journey known as "EsquieR" he decided to go with whats now known as the internationally known "EsquieR Music Group". The company branched from it's home base of New York all the way down the East Coast to Florida and ended up reaching countries in Europe with Artist and Dj's. The Company "EMG" was starting to resemble it's predecessors which he drew inspiration from (No Limit, Bad Boy, Def Jam, Universal). Already attracting interest from other outlets of entertainment, J.B. found himself Modeling for 4 different clothing lines one including Juelz Santana's (Camron's Diplomat Records/Def Jam Records Artist) clothing line "Royal". J.B. was featured in clothing ads in high-end fashion magazines such as Beautiful-Decay and YRB which is distributed worldwide. While working this hard, it's only right J.B. plays just as hard. Still Djing, he was now also Hosting Club Events drawing a crowd because of his party's reputations for being the best and "Always for the People". Currently J.B. A&R's/Consult Independent artist and associate producing projects while still managing his continuously growing label and his own career. He also writes treatments/produce music video's. His taste of the fashion world has put his interest into developing a female watch line and while being in the club so much he's actually working on his own High-End Cognac. With all this going on, J.B. still managed to go on tour overseas and has signed a unique artist deal with Switzerland's Biggest Dj to date Sir-Colin's Record label "Park'in Place" Music and has already performed in clubs/venues throughout the country and even spot dated in Austria and London. With a continuously growing fan base in all his ventures, it's only a matter of time that the name J.Berry AkA International Jay will be undeniable not only in the world of music but in the world of Entertainment itself!
