FEELING ALIVE is pure jazz, expressive, modern and vivid. Agathe Jazz Quartet tells about love, life and the art of coexistence. Therefore the main songs are those written by front woman Agathe Iracema. With the theme song Feeling Alive, which is featuring „Mr Funk trombone“ Fred Wesley and trumpeter Nicolas Folmer, Agathe makes her statement about music. The song is in every way artistic and versatile, from his soft beginning to the unisono final. The band’s musicality is also shown in the other songs, which include new arranged and interpreted jazz standards.

Passion, engagement and talent – are Agathe Iracema’s characteristics. Agathe got to know Paris’ stages before she was able to read and write. As her parents couldn’t afford a babysitter, they had to take young Agathe to the life performances of her father – fortunately. The singer lives for her music und fascinates with her incomparable arrangements and songs. Whether in jazz clubs or on festivals, Agathe takes every possibility to share and live her passion and remember her motto “music is a universal language”.

Agathe Jazz Quartet livre ici sa vision lumineuse d’un courant musical d’aujourd’hui ou se côtoient standards de jazz et créations. L’album est construit autour des 3 compositions de la chanteuse lead et raconte l’amour, la vie, l’art de vivre ensemble.

Feeling Alive, le titre éponyme de l’album est la déclaration d’amour d’Agathe à la musique. Accompagné par le trompettiste Nicolas Folmer et Mr Funk Trombone Fred Wesley les deux invités de l'album, le titre s’envole vers un arrangement à l’unisson avec une fabuleuse musicalité. Une tonalité qui traverse l’album de bout en bout.
