Nataly’s Corner takes you back to 2002 with the release of Hardcastle III and in what has become the second in a continuing series of smooth & contemporary jazz compilations from the Jazzmaster, himself. By the time of H-III’s release, Singer Helen Rogers was solidified as the primary vocalist on most of Paul’s albums. It had gotten to the point that whenever or wherever you heard Helen singing…you knew instantly that the music was Hardcastle’s. Fans are truly mesmerized by Helen’s silky smooth singing. Helen’s doing her own thing now…but if you ask any Hardcastle Fan what would be their ultimate desire: First they would respond with Paul doing a concert. Next they would want to see him and Helen collaborating together on some new music. I like several of the tracks on this album…but “Sunshine” is my favorite. It’s smooth, melodic, and makes me wish I was walking near the water like the woman in the photo in the video! The lyrics are beautiful…and they remind me of someone I care about deeply!
