UK Singer/Songwriter Shares New Single In Advance of November Release

“In The Light”, the first single from the upcoming full length solo album titled “Smooth Jazz Meets Reggae” from Jazzmasters co-founder, songwriter and vocalist Helen Rogers, is going for radio adds on September 15th, 2015.

"In The Light" is a groove-filled mid-tempo track with inspirational, heartfelt lyrics. It’s a definite “day-starter” that makes listeners feel like they can overcome any challenge the day may bring. Similar songs include R. Kelly's "Step In The Name of Love" with a more 'chilled-out jazzy' vibe. Production for "In The Light" is handled by production team Quicktouch (Henry "Sadiki" Buckley Jr. & Marvin Weatherspoon) and written by Helen, Henry & Marvin.

Helen is best known for her work on Jazzmasters - the Smooth Jazz album series she co-founded with producer and multi-instrumentalist Paul Hardcastle. That collaboration spawned multiple #1 hits on the Jazz and Smooth Jazz national single and album charts in Japan and the Billboard chart in the US.
