a quick video demo of the George Scholz "Purpleizer" fuzz, the only one in existence! George is the maker of Harry Joyce amps, Scholz amps, Sugarcone speakers, and is one heck of a great amp tech. This is a pretty unusual sounding fuzzbox, made with three vintage Mullard OC75 transistors, and has a very gated/velcro fuzz sort of sound.
