They may look like they are still in school but the Veez reek of attitude and blow everyone that is here tonight away with their infectious bubblegum punk. The next great British all girl group?"

The Fly, Kirk Burton, August 06
"The Veez were an all-girl 4-piece and when they took to the tiny stage they dispelled any false impression that they were about sweerness and buttercups. With their pop-punk hooks and great choruses they got everyone in the room mesmerised and no more so than the outrageously sexy lead singer, there wasn't a soul in the room who dared take their eyes off of her. She weaved and bobbed along the front while the band brandish terrifyingly infectious riffs, the guitarist looked like she was having the time of her life as the room nodded their heads in tandem to her bubbling solos."

Clash, Lee Puddefoot , July 06, review of the Artful Festival 2005
"Singer Shay can belt out a tune and certainly likes the stage, shaking her money maker and hair along to the spiky guitars and straddling speakers and the like. The entire band were very tight in fact, with new single Rockstar finishing off their raucous set to generous whoops and applause. Further investigating into the band has turfed up the most impressive facts that their first gig was as support to Hawkwind in Bournemouth in 2004 a mere two weeks after the band line up was completed - The 'wind' were suitably impressed enough to ask The Veez to help complete their tour. Last year they also headlined the Guardian Media Lounge stage at Glastonbury!"

Art Rocker, Todd Terje, The Artful Festival launch party 06
"Femme four piece rock sensation The Veez are faces of the new rock revolution"!

The Mercury, Oct 06
The Veez were one of the highlights of the evening, when their lead singer took to the stage followed by whoops of joy from the testosterone-laden crowd. Her tousled blonde hair and short black hot pants definitely struck a chord with the audience and she reminded me of a young Debbie Harry. She had a stage presence which the previous lead singers lacked and was able to belt out a powerful rock set with ease.
