DESCRIPTION:
A musical homage to the Maracatu tradition of Recife, Brazil, featuring Marcus Finnie and Andy Smith. The work is scored for two drum-sets, and takes inspiration from traditional groups such as Maracatu Estrela Brilhante, as well as contemporary drum-set performers Edu Ribeiro, Marcio Bahia, and Nenê.
