Biography



Born to an artistic mother and scholastic father, Brian “Deep” Watters (H2OZ) found himself firmly between both worlds of creativity and reality. From sniping concert posters on street lights as an independent record promoter to producing street anthems for some of the biggest names in the Bay Area, Deep H2OZ employs both sides of the brain in his organized originality.



Feeding two contradicting hungers fuels Deep H2OZ. With a family full of accomplished pianists and Deep H2OZ humming tunes as a young child, his mother placed him in piano class jumpstarting his musical career. Everywhere he turned there was music--music was calling. He went to the local pawnshop downtown and bought a BOSS DR-880, his first drum machine. He dedicated his life to music and the marketing of music. Whether graduating with an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business or scoring a soundtrack to life, Deep H2OZ played every role in order to direct every role.



To answer your calling is to be divine. Deep H2OZ stayed true to his self by striving toward both his musical and his business aspirations. Deep H2OZ’s many notable collaborations (including Too Short and Mac Dre) coupled with leading an independent record label demonstrate his innovation and execution.
