Mugzi of The Mossie presents: 30/30 RECORDS.

Founded in 2001 by Young Mugzi of The Mossie, 30/30 Records is the latest chapter in the successful saga of the Sick Wid It Records dynasty. Mugzi who is an accomplished producer, executive, and rap artist also happens to be the heir to the Sick Wid It throne as he is the younger brother to rap legends E-40 and The Click. Mugzi first appeared on the scene in 1991, at the young age of 16, on The Click's debut album, Down & Dirty. He shined on that album, as well as E-40's subsequent solo album Federal, which would lead to him being signed to Sick Wid It/Jive Records. Mugzi would also appear on a majority of all of the following Sick Wid It releases including the GOLD selling Southwest Riderz Compilation, E-40's Mailman E.P., and E-40s PLATINUM selling In A Major Way among others. In 1997, as a member of The Mossie, Mugzi and crew released the well received "Have Heart, Have Money" (Sick Wid It/Jive), which would sell over 100,000 copies with no major promotion from Jive. The Mossie's debut album would firmly establish Mugzi as a force to be reckoned with for the Bay Area and the West Coast as a whole. Mugzi has collaborated with the hottest producers and the who's who in the music industry including multi-platinum producers Rick Rock, Bosko, Mike Mosley, Sam Bostic, Ant Banks and a slew of others. After accomplishing so much at an early age, it was a natural progression for Mugzi to launch his own label to showcase the new generation of the Sick Wid It family; hence the conception of 30/30 Records.

The first artist to come from the 30/30 Records roster is the young, hungry, and talented Turf Talk. Turf Talk is being hailed as the savior of the Bay Area with his ferocious delivery mixed with his uncanny knack to mix lyrical ability with street reality. Turf Talk's most notable performances can be found on his big cousin E-40's hit single "Gasoline" off of the "Breaking News" album as well as stellar cameos on Mack 10's "Ghetto, Gutter and Gangsta" album and Jay Tee from N2DEEP's "High Caliber". Most recently, Turf Talk was featured on super-producer Rick Rock's group The Federation's "Hyphy" (remix) on Virgin Records which is receiving huge radio play all over the West Coast and Mid-West. In addition to Turf Talk, the 30-30 records roster hosts a platoon of the most hungry and talented groups and artists in the industry. So please stay tuned as Mugzi and 30-30 records brings you new releases from The Mossie, The DBz, Poppi Cas, and other acts who will not be named at this time, but stay logged on because this 30-30 Records movement is something you wont want to miss!!!
