If I had to choose one word to describe a Cutthroat Drifters live show, I'd have to go with "smiles". Smiles on the band. Smiles on the audience. And even smiles on the bar staff.
I'm serious -- the last time I saw them play live, the girls behind the bar became noticeably "happier" after the band started playing. Everyone did!
And that's just fine with the Drifters, who revel in lifting a crowd, and making sure everyone has a good time.
The smiles continue off stage, as The Cutthroat Drifters get ready to release their first full-length album, titled GO, on August 10th.
The songs on GO have their foundations rooted in rock, past and present, and continues to prove that rock and roll is far from dead.
