DRUNKEN THUNDER formed in 1999 in Houston, Texas. D.T. attracted fans right away with their explosive performances, both on and off the stage. Often described as DUI car-tunes, with a cult following across the country, most of them police officers and trial lawyers. Their music autobiographical, a startling account of pranks, foolish stunts, dustups and makeups, side-splitting behavior that can only be described as, well, DRUNKEN THUNDER. A saltcellar of sharp, lively wit, catchy riffs and band tiffs, a standard applied to all D.T. material. Songs range from the creepy to metal to disco, punk and naked home invasions, recorded in closets, studios, vacant offices, garages and on laptops.
