One Direction Fanfic Part 14 - Video

DESCRIPTION:
The room suddenly dropped in temperature; I could see my breath blowing into the small prison that held us capture. I looked to Ellie, she was shaking like a leaf, she ran her small hands up and down her arms as an attempt to warm her up, this was a failing attempt. I had watched the petite girl slowly deteriorate before me. The world had turned numb and all sounds were muffled. I watched Louis tell us his plan, but I couldn't really hear him. He sounded like when a person is talking to you through glass, noticeable, yet almost silent. Maybe I was stuck in my own nightmare? Surely something so unlikely and bizarre couldn't and shouldn't be happening to an insignificant and boring girl from England. I'm not a rich daughter of a Lord or a stunning Hollywood actress, why was this materializing before my eyes? Nothing makes any sense to me anymore.
'Chloe' I heard someone echo around in my head. Or was this in my head? 'Chloe?' they repeated, something shook my shoulders roughly. All I could see was a blur of shapes and colours. My mouth had the texture of sandpaper, but my hands were the moisture of a recently surfaced dolphin. My head buzzed and zizzed, my nose started to twitch and all of a sudden my legs had weakened and couldn't hold my weight any longer. Then like a vacuum, all the air was sucked out of my lungs and I was struggling for air. It felt as if I was drowning. Drowning in my own adrenalin.
I felt hands under my arms, trying to stop my knees from buckling. But it was no use, my dead weight made them let gravity take over. The voices were shouting again. My breathing peaked at a speed too high to stop. Hands reached over and took my face, the touch of safety sprinkled the sense over my freezing body, nearly pulling it back to the warmth, yet it was not quite robust enough.
'Try and calm down' the shape in front of me demanded. 'Breathe with me' they said. I listened to the way they were inhaling and exhaling, I tried to mimic it. 'That's it Chloe. Keep going.' I did as they commanded and soon enough the shapes became refined and the voices sounded sane. I understood my location and became aware of my immediate surroundings. It was like I had just become conscious after days of the opposite. I was huddled down on the damp floor, my knees propped up and back lent against a pair of strong arms. Liam was sat in front of me, his clammy hands pressed on my cheeks and his face only a couple of inches from mine. Ellie was stood behind him, tears were streaming thick and fast down her face, her mascara had already washed away. I must have been supported by Louis, he was stroking my hair, an attempt to calm my nerves I would think.
'Well done' Liam spoke, staring into my water-filled eyes. Then he removed his hands from my face and pressed them on my back, squeezing me for an awkward, yet needed hug.
'What happened? Are you alright?' asked Ellie whilst wiping away her tears and cautiously crouching down beside me.
'I don't know' was all I could say, I'd never experienced anything like that before.
'You had a panic attack' Louis informed us all, this seemed to fit well. 'I could tell I've had them before. You'll be fine, but you need some water and food.'
'Where exactly are we going to get that from?' asked Liam sarcastically, Louis shot him an indignant glare.
'What was your plan Louis? To get us all out' I asked as I was well aware I'd missed that part of the conversation.
'He suggested we wait until someone comes for us, then attack them and escape through the door. But we ruled that out. It could be days until we see anyone else. They could be waiting till we all die. To starve. To turn on each other. To turn to cannibalism.'
'Oh don't be so dramatic!' Louis yelled at Liam. 'I already explained that they don't want us dead. Or does no one listen to me when I speak?!' You could almost feel the tension rising in the room, I felt as though I had added to this incredibly.
'Maybe they don't want us to die, but aren't particularly bothered if we do.' Liam scratched his head, plucking off a scab. He still looked rough and bloody.
