DESCRIPTION:
On October 30, 2016 The Brooklyn Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO) Sponsors an annual competition for young organists awarding scholarship funds to the winners. In the spring of 2016 the competition was able to help three young musicians with their college tuition costs.

Michael Kaminski is a nationally acclaimed concert organist from Brooklyn. He will play a recital of all-French music on the pipe organ at St. Francis Xavier Church, 225 Sixth Avenue, Brooklyn. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Brooklyn AGO Scholarship Competition Fund. If you cannot attend the concert buy would still like to help, please contact Ellen Wright, chapter Dean, at Dean@brooklynago.org
